Molex connector for monitor.

Hey all, I am currently short one 3 pin molex power plug to go into my spare monitor. The cab is currently hard wired and has no molex plug on it so switching it out with the spare to get repaired  doesnt do me any good seeing how I wont have anyway to (without rigging it) get power. I have been looking for two hours and besides buying a power cord for an outlet (I know I know) for 15$ which would logically have the connector on it I really have no idea what specifically I am looking for and would really appreciate some assistance..

Sorry if my advice is completely off but I'm not sure I understand correctly.
Can you remove the wire that's hardwired to the board, find a power source that has the same voltage that the board needs, attach the wires to whatever connector suites where the power is? Is this what you mean?

That's an interesting molex connector.  What brand monitor?

You could always buy the connector pins at radioshack and build your own by crimping the metal pins to the appropriate wires and just plugging them in with no housing needed.   Might want to wrap electrical tape around each to insulate them.  I would probably solder the connectors rather than crimp in case you need to pull them out - less chance to yank the wire out of the pin you just crimped on... It would not be the best solution, but would work in a pinch until you can find a housing.

If you get the manual for your monitor it should tell you the part number for the mating connector. You can then go over to molex.com and get the right plug and right pins for the plug for free by ordering a "sample". Just make sure you have the right crimp tool for the pin for best results. I did that for one of my WGs for the power connector and RGB/Sync connector.

a Tyco / AMP mate n lock 3 pin connector which my other cabs (Midway Jamma) have on them so last time I swapped out monitors (for repair) I didnt run into this issue.
