Star Wars yoke substitute?

I can afford having a real atari yoke from star wars with a usb. What else can I use as a good substitute?

This is sacrilege, but I've found that a trackball with the Y axis inverted works great!

You'd need an A-Pac as an interface.

I don't have a trackball on my machine but I never thought about using a trackball with the Star Wars games. What kind of analog sticks are you talking about? Send me a link so I can see it

I don't think so.  Sans the original control, I think it's one of the better options.  The lack of resistance normally caused by a return-to-center spring actually makes aiming easier than with an analog stick, but it is a bit of a different feel.

Nothing really compares to the two handed control of the original, though.

I've been playing around with a ZeeMote.

If you can get two to play nice at the same time (as two mice) then you are very close to the actual controller.

Pretty damn close if you look at the thing.  Plays like a dream (on my android).

Haven't got it connected to the PC yet.  But you can download the drivers....

Hmmm I might get that joystick. Does it work good for games like pac man that needs fast reaction?

It as a gameport interface, but you should either be able to hack it or use a gameport to usb adapter.
