Penguin Kun Wars 2 player?

Anyone seen or heard of a version of Penguin Kun Wars that's actually two player simultaneous instead of just one (like the original rom)?

The only option I've seen mentioned via google was a version for the gameboy that featured a 2 player head to head version.

Maybe another game with similar game play?
