Probably good monitor for a sub-miniature cab

http://www.dealextreme.com/p/pl8006-portable-8-color-lcd-monitor-tv-w-ypbpr-vga-input-47-870mhz-55245

8" diagonal, 800x600, 4:3 aspect ratio and VGA input.

$72 might be a little high...
If there's bees in the trap I'm catching em
By the thorax and abdomen
And sanding the stingers down to a rough quill
Then I dip em in ink, and I scribble a bit
But if it they wriggle then I tickle em until they hold still
Lemme say it again
In my land of pretend
I use bees as a mf'n pen

47mhz to 870mhz??

The (probably obsolete, given that it is analog only) TV tuner input.  That's the bottom end of VHF up to about as high as UHF broadcast and cable ever went.

Both look really interesting, note that the first one can be battery powered.  Thanks for the idea.

How about this one instead?

...a bit pricier though.

I have a couple of these, I got them from ebay a little cheeper, and the image quality is pretty good, sound not so good
Easy to decase, perfect for a tiny bartop cab

Find yourself an original PS1 screen.  These can output  display VGA with a mod.

Edit: Fixt!

Wait, why would you want to output VGA from a PS1 screen?
