HAHAHA

This is the SECOND time I've bought 'bad/broken' equipment that the only trouble is the person didn't know how to wire crap.

They had the ground on one side of the pot, and the other side all the way over... IE, never ever worky..

So I just rewired it and one pot now working..

I'm still missing one though (one was 100% removed... and the mounting bracket also... that will be a pain in the arshe!).

Happs has them for 10 bucks... but 25 minimum and shipping...  But I will probably want to order something by the time I hack them all....

But if anyone else knows of any good sources, I would love to hear!

Fry's Electronics sells pots....if you don't have one near you, I believe you can check thier website at outpost.com

I ordered product from mouser.com once, and I was very satisfied, and they have been sending me product catalogs ever since....very cool.   ;D

It's kinda messed up to have to go searching for a specialized replacement 5k pot so that you can use a special sidewinder hack that works around the fact that PC's almost always use 100k pots.

Anyway, cool...  I can't wait to hear how they work.

You could also look for a specialized electronics shop in your city. My city has a great one. One other thing though. Pots are just plain expensive. Especially if you get nice heavy duty ones. I picked up a couple for my Star Wars yoke and I think I paid about $8 a piece for the medium grade ones. The heavy duty MIL Spec pots were around the $12 range.
If you build a frankenpanel, chances are I don't care for you as a person.

Happ doesn't have a $25 minimum anymore.

Thats because after shipping your order will be heads and tails above $25 no matter what you order  ;D
