Does anyone have one of these lying around?

I may have a 9600.  It'll take me a couple of days to get to it (it's in storage) and get back with you though.

My guess would be for an Ubuntu install. I searched for awhile for a good card that was cheap and worked with OpenGL for Ubuntu and mame.

Probably because they're known to work with the component out adapter.
