I doubt it would be anything like 280 or so machines, but is there anything like http://www.classicarcademuseum.org/ in the UK?

Coming from the back woods of Essex I have never had the opportunity to play a lot of the old classics on the original machines. Or does nothing like this exist as all the good machines are held in private collections?

Just thinking a trip to NH is probably a bit extreme to play video games. I doubt my other half would entertain the idea  :laugh2:

Thanks,

AA

OK put this another way...instead of the the normal modern arcades at Southend-on-Sea or Blackpool, which in my opinion seem to be mainly concerned with gambling machines or up to the minute arcade games; would anyone be interested in visiting an arcade full of the classics? If this were possible? In the UK?

Theres other stuff to do in New Hampshire. you can sell your wife on that and then when you get there, you can be like, oh look at this place, lets check it out. ;D

Me, my wife and kids go up to the Funspot (classic arcade museum) once a year. buts its only a five hour drive for us.
