Console snaps not showing/ Matching
« on: January 30, 2011, 09:10:05 am »
Hi folks

Hi guys

I've managed to get my hands on a full set of console snaps for use in maximus. Ive set the locations in preferences but it won't show the snap for each game, just a grey screen? They are all png. Files, the only thing I can assume is the file names don't correspond to the names of the roms. Is there an easy fix for this? I read an old post somewhere but it started to get a bit above my head.

also. The pc I'm using in my cab isn't connected to the net and I need to download the divx codecs to run my mame snap vids. I've tried downliading the codecs to my laptop and then transfering via USB but it says pc must be connected to Internet to install them. Any ideas?

Thanks guys.
I think MA is a fantastic front end

I had this problem too. my MAME snaps was in .avi and MA wouldn't show them. Downloaded K-Lite codec pack and transferred it to my mame pc using a usb drive. installed the codec pack and it worked.
