Author Topic: How do you get a computer to boot when it doesnt detect the keyboard?  (Read 1550 times)

For instance, If you only use a gamepad hack or whatnot and it doesnt need a keyboard hooked to it.  The computer starts teh booting process and says keyboard not found, press f1 to continue or del to go to bios.

I cant hit f1 because there is no keyboard hooked up.

Anyone?

In bios you can disable that keyboard check.

In bios you can disable that keyboard check.

Depends on the BIOS.  Some do, some don't.

If all else fails, get a broken KB, rip the board/connector out, and plug it in.  It should still detect the KB, but it's small enough to tuck away (in the case of a bartop, maybe)
