Help with background music
« on: January 24, 2011, 04:01:18 pm »
I am new to MaLa (came from mamwah) and having some setup issues...
I would like to have background music (random from mp3's) playing while the the machine is idle on the layouts... (The same music for all) the tab background music gives me weird errors when I try to add songs..... when I use the jukebox it plays but when I go back to the MAME layout it fades out and shuts off.....(I am using the latest release)

I have tried the 139 beta and it has the same problem with the background tab but it seems to stay on when started in the jukebox....BUT my add or subtract to list buttons generate fatal errors in the beta version...... so I went back to the release version....

Help! BTW love the frontend and am VERY excited about switching over !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess maybe people know about this already?
either way I know whats wrong....

Apparently it does NOT like punctuation after I stripped the mp3's of all punctuation they loaded fine.... weird... anyway it works! before hand the log kept say "out of bounds" or something weird like that.
