trouble with roms
« on: January 21, 2011, 11:11:31 am »
Hi all,
First off, great site here, it convinced me to build my first cab which is in the process off assembly now.  I am new to using mala but have used emulators for a while now. I was wondering if someone could help me with an issue I'm having? I have the mame 140 rom set and have mala configured to use mame 140, but when I go to play many of the games they start to load then go right back to the game select menu. Any help would be appreciated.

Yeah now really a MaLa issue.

You need to make sure mame is working with your romset before running from a FE as that can mask errors.

Try launching from command line.

Do the mame version and romset match?
