In the Mala directory: a folder for each emulator (with the name of the emulator as named in the options) where all the game lists of that emulator go.

Also, there does seem to be a dat for VP, which front ends like VPLauncher and such use. Could this be implemented?

ahhhhhhhhhhhhh If it ain't broke don't fix it I think.  I think that would confuse a lot of long standing MaLa users. Not keen on this. I like to see all the emu files when debugging.

Sorry, I don't know what VPLauncher is.  Please explain what you mean more fully.

I think of it kind of like how MAME handles snaps, giving each game their own folder within the snaps folder. It would make things tidier in the directory at least. But I can understand your sentiment - and even as things in Mala are, the list files are numbered, so we don't know which emulator they pertain to.

VPLauncher is a pinball front end that looks a little like MAME32. Another one is called VPMan. The point is that each of these is able to automatically list the tables that are in the tables folder by their actual name - not their rom name, etc.

...Yeah. If I was starting MaLa from scratch I would do something like that  ;D
