Rowe Berkeley CD Jukebox
« on: January 16, 2011, 08:12:54 pm »
I was recently given a Rowe Berkeley wall mount jukebox. It is all in working condition and sounds good. However I don't know anything about them and am not sure how to manually rotate the CD carriage to install the Cd's. Any Help from one of you experts would be much appreciated!

Thanks Guys for the reply. If I were planning to keep this I would definitely buy a manual. This machine will be donated to a retirement home here in Washington state and they put together a list of cd's they would like in the machine. I am only able to replace a few based on th location of the carriage. There must be a simple way of rotating the the cd carriage to swap ot cd's right?

Pull the door interlock switch out to put the juke in service mode and hit the cancel button on the cd mechanism.  This will rotate the carriage.  You will need to intialize any cd's you put on.

You will need to intialize any cd's you put on.

1: flick the switch to service...

2a: "3, 0, popular" this will do ALL the disks... will take about half an hour. easy if you changed a lot of disks...

2b: or you can keep track of the disk # you change and do a "3, 1, xx, popular xx, popular, xx, popular..... etc" where xx is the 2 digit number of the disks you changed...

3: flick the switch out of service mode it will begin scanning the disks.

4: play songs

5: ??????

6: Profit

7: Jukebox service technicians go out of business.

wait... forget EVERYTHING I said!
