Making a Control Panel Harness

I'm finally(hopefully) getting around to using the two Mini-PACs I picked up almost five years ago.  

I didn't pick up harnesses with them because the harnesses were too small for what I needed.

I have the "old" version of the Mini-PAC that has two DIN connectors and want to use it with the control panel in the image below.

The following are the what I am getting to make the harness I need:

The question, can I use my Waldom crimper:

Or do I need to get the Digi-Key recommended crimper:

And lastly, what other connector housing and pins would I need to get for use with the spinner?

According to Andy Warne I would have to use the Mini-PAC in USB mode in order to make use of the spinner.(Which I'm still looking for optic boards for).

Ok, I'm going to have to go into this blind.

Does anyone at least know the part number of the 9 pin connector housing used on the older Mini-PAC?

Don't know the part number you're looking for. But I would suggest buying the second pair of crimpers, it will make it easier on you. You'll need to use the handle end of those crimpers to crimp those pins. You'll be able to crimp the pins with your crimpers, but it won't be a proper crimp, and it would be a pain in the neck to get them to bend inwards with each crimp. There are also crimpers out there that crimp the wire and insulation at the same time and are spring loaded. I got mine for around $30.

Buying a second pair of crimpers for a housing I don't know the part number to won't help.

Nevertheless, I found out that whatever these connectors are they are used to plug USB ports into PC motherboards.

The weird thing is that no computer store in my area has anything like them. So I picked up a couple of multi-card readers via Ebay and plan to use the cables that came with them.

What I need now it the name/part number of the 4 pin connector that plugs into the spinner.(Or preferably a cable with that connector).

Thanks, but those threads don't involve the MiniPAC.
