cropping from Photshop to Illustrator question???
« on: August 18, 2003, 11:27:52 pm »
I'm hoping someone can help me out.  I've been trying to crop some pics in photoshop and import them into Illustrator.  The problem is that when I"m cropping the pics im getting a white background on the part that I cut out of the pic, when I import into Illustrator.
Any help out there?

Seems to me you are not actually cropping the picture. Are you using the crop tool or the marquee tool?  You can always open illistrator and photoshop at the same time and drag and drop the image in photoshop into illistrator without importing.  Use the move tool and drag your image in photoshop directly into illistrator.
