Launching a 2nd mala from the 1st w/o mame?
« on: December 20, 2010, 06:22:17 am »
Hi guys,
I was thinking if it was possible to configure MALA without mame. I would like to have a group of emus with an alternative configuration and it would be nice to launch them from the second MALA, but for now, no alternative config needed for mame.
Thanks.

Not sure what you mean by a second MaLa?  You can only run one MaLa at a time.

But I have no immediate plans to remove mame

MaLa orginally meant Mame and More

Thanks for the answer.
I have already working Mala with about 15 emus perfectly (awesome job on 1.73, no issues found coming from... 1.55? donīt remember, the last one Cabecita translated). Of course mame is the reason I made my control panel and Iīm not removing it ever. But Iīm setting up a brunch of emus/games which should be used with alternative controls. I thought on adding a new emu on my working mala called i.e: Analog Controlled, with only one batch on the gamelist calling to the second mala (on another folder that the one running) with itīs own config and layouts but...
You can only run one MaLa at a time.

I should add these alternative configured emus at the end of the list and ready,
thank you again, for your job on the frontend and here at forum
