Rowe AMI Berkeley error codes
« on: December 19, 2010, 10:17:10 pm »
Hello,
I am getting an error code on a couple of cd selections (93 and 99).  When I type the cd number, it gives me an error of "not allwd ni" and does nothing.  Also when trying to play a full cd (by typing disk number and p) it says "not allwd na).  Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

The discs may have been locked out by whoever had the box before, but probably not. You can check the lock outs to make sure that is not the case. More likely the player is having trouble reading the discs. If it can't read them it locks them out. It's a good feature if you have them out on location as it cuts down on refunds and pissed off drunks. Try cleaning the discs and then initialize them. If that doesn't work they may be bad discs or a picky reader.
