Minipac Pulls to Left

My Tempest spinner, which had been working fine, stopped working the other day.

Now, regardless of if the spinner is plugged in or not (I have a modular CP), the cursor arrow when in windows pulls to the left.  S l o w l y  but steadily to the left until it hits the edge of the screen then stops.

I have what I presume is the old-style Minipac, as seen in my pic in this thread:

I've tried everything but the only thing that stops the pulling is disconnecting the Multipac.  :(

Is it dead?  Is it a driver issue?  WTF, over.

Install/uninstall of drivers multiple times fixed it.   :dunno
