I want to know the ratio of spinner movement and screen movement in bat games.
My current game is with a trackball, if you move it a bit less than 180 (what you can move with a single stroke of the hand) it moves roughly 1/3 of the screen... Seemly this is too slow when you need to cross the screen fast, but maybe making it more sensitive will upset those expecting a finer control.
I never played original arcade bat games, so how they were supposed to feel? How much you needed to turn the spinner (or trackball) to move how much on the screen?
I know it varies, I just want rough values, just to know what people that played those games expect.
