Help me Repair my Candy Cab!!!
« on: December 16, 2010, 09:17:17 am »
Ok so I recently got 2 cabs, one of them was the candy cab I mentioned in another thread. I got this one for free, it has 2 games: Metal Slug 4 and Far east of Eden. The previous owner told me to check the monitor. So I took most of the cab apart, and now Im staring at the monitor. I already discharged it, and when I plug the monitor it makes a hissing sound and no display. So any ideas guys? I took pics of the monitor, so you guys cab determine what's wrong with it.

First thing I would look for is blown fuses on the monitor chassis.   Do you have a transformer (step down) for that cab.   It looks like it is setup for 100V Japan not US 120?

Have you actually hooked up an image source to this monitor?

I haven't. I have the neo geo board, should I hook it up?
