Problem with Visual Pinball on a WG D9800
« on: December 12, 2010, 08:12:41 am »
Ok, So I finally decided to add Visual Pinball to my MAME cabinet. I have a Wells Gardner D9800 arcade monitor. So I know the resolutions are a bit low. Now the problem I'm encountering with Visual Pinball is with games that have animated score boards. For example, Indiana Jones, Back to the Future. Pretty much Any Sterns Pinball game. What happens is the game loads, but it displays the animated score board on the whole screen covering up the actual table. I can move it out of the way, but when I say it takes up the whole screen it takes up the whole screen. It's almost as if VP thinks I'm running two separate monitors. One for the score board, and one for the table. Now, Does anyone know how to fix this, or how to disable it? I really would like to play Pinball on my MAME cab, but it's frustrating when i can't see what I'm playing  :(
