is this whats used to connect jamma boards to vga monitor?? pretty much works with any vga?

Yeah, its one way you can upscale a standard res image to display on a VGA monitor.

There are some more expensive upscalers but that one did enough for what I wanted.

Its already sold but PM SNAAKE ;)
