Looking for Double Dragon, TMNT, X-Men arcade plans
« on: November 13, 2010, 08:27:23 pm »
Hey guys, I picked up a few jamma boards. Double Dragon, TMNT 4player, and Xmen 6player. I really want to build the original size cabinets, but I need the plans/dimensions. Does anyone know where I can get some leads on info like this?

THANKS!

They have TMNT and XMen thankfully. What about Double Dragon?

Is there a place where I can get CP overlays and cab art and marquees for the original games?

RTFW is my obnoxious short answer.

Yes and check the artwork vendors is my (not much) longer, yet still obnoxious, answer.

Rebuilding an actual dedicated DD cabinet may be tough -- it was pretty damned rare. Someone here was doing a restoration of one last year, so you should search for those threads, although measuring cabs for plans is a PITA and people rarely follow up once they get the measurements (I have provided measurements for 8 or 9 cabs and have yet to see a set of plans from the people who requested those measurements).

OTOH, dedicated DDs weren't very common. The one that I played regularly was a generic Dynamo conversion cab, so maybe do with something like that.

I actually think I have a DD marquee lying around, but I think it was cut down to fit a conversion cab. I'll have to check.

I just bought a DD cab a few weeks ago for $100 in good condition. I just striped it out the cab and now in the process of converting it to something else. If you want to buy the marquee, bezel, joysticks or Jama board let me know.
