I have ordered from Ultimarc and it often gets to me faster than ordering from Canada.  It is definitely faster then ordering from the US.

The reality, however, is that if I wanted an IPac4, I would find some other stuff to tack on and order directly from Andy. And I live a 15 minute drive from Starburst/Playdium.

I actually preferred the old location ... was a 2 minute drive. I used to pick up my eldest early from school on Fridays, run over and pick up some parts, then spend a couple of hours playing pinball in the showroom.

First rule in this hobby is send an email to check details. If no answer, then call.

But, as stated, I would order directly from Andy.

Let's be fair ...  you said that Starburst was to (sic) far away ... unless you think that there are little arcade elves assembling IPacs in Regina, Saskatoon or Moose Jaw (maybe Winterpeg ... Xar ?), then you would be out of luck if Toronto was too far.

Oddly enough, I have a spare IPac4, but, as I am too far away and may want to use it in a project, I'll hold on to it for now.

it's not like i don't know about the vendors it's more that i'd like to avoid paying $100 for an ipac 4 if it's not possible that's fine but i'd still rather not.  I didn't think there was any harm in asking that but i guess i was wrong there

Starburst have the ipac-4 at least they used to. did you try contacting them? They are canadians.

Andy ships worldwide. Shipping fees from UK are very fair. I fail to see how you can have it for cheaper, being that resellers will have it shipped from Andy and add their own cut on the sale price.

The problem isn't about asking, its the negativism against every reply people do, understand people are trying to help out... but you need to do your part.

Again, try starburst, or directly at ultimarc. The best ways for you to get it, cheaply, fastly, to your place in the praries. (it rimes )

I don't see how you can get it much cheaper than 70 dollars plus shipping from the main source.   Since the Canadian dollar is close to part to the US it is not as bad a hit as you think.    You will never get a cab built if you want to start by shaving pennies off of one of the most important parts.

$84.50 to be exact ( i got the usb cable to)

i'm not rich i don't scoff at $25 still covers allot of my tiny costs of my cab like a bolt here and a screw there makes my current cabinet price $280 right now and it is just waiting on that part and maybe a piece of steal to repair one of my sticks.  that's not bad when you consider that i have the computer and monitor in and waiting at this point
