Model T Moped CAR for Arcade Accessories
« on: August 13, 2003, 06:11:49 pm »
Ok... This is the deal....

I am looking to build a Mame cab and running low on funds. I also was running out of room in my garage so I have decided to try to kill two birds with one stone (insert Mame game joke here) I have a Model T car, made out of 2 mopeds, that I am willing to trade for all of the parts needed for a great Mame cabinet. This car would be great for someone who knows ANYTHING about mopeds. I on the other hand do not. You must be able to pick it up in Delaware. Here is what I am looking for and details on the car.

*** Items needed for Mame cab ***

Buttons (Horizontal Microswitch) Multiple Colors

(Preferably)
6- Red
4- Yellow
6- Black
2- Green
3- Purple
2- Blue
2- Orange
2- White

1- 1 Player button
1- 2 Player button

1- I-Pac4 USB w/PS2 Adapter (Preferably)
1- Opti-Pac
1- Spinner
1- Trackball
2- 8 Way Joysticks
1- 4 Way Joystick

Of course your thinking... What is this stupid idiot doing putting exactly what he is looking for. I am only listing the things I was going to purchase for my cabinet. If you can put together something that compares to this, I am a happy gamer. Although I need the Arcade hardware badly, I will entertain any reasonable offer, so don't be afraid to make one.

*** Model T moped car ***

From what I know... And it is not much, This was hand made from two Mopeds brought from sears in 1978. The bikes are made by a company called Kramag. I tried to do research on it and from what I have read, these are 2 Puch Mopeds. The gas tank is located in the rear. It sits 2 comfortably. The dashboard has controls for Horn, Engine and Lights. There are wires cut and I have no idea where they are supposed to be connected. Friends have told me that it should be easy to get it running. I would love to see how this runs but again I know nothing about what I'm looking at, do to it not having a mouse and keyboard attached :) The tarp on top is not attached in anyway and can be removed. I have place it on top because I am including it with the car.

Thanks

Just wait, Birdtales will be trading cab parts for an 89 octane to 120v inverter.

(ya, ya, ya, some of us might call it an alternator...)
