smartcard reader software

i have an older com port smartcard reader/writer that was used at one time for satellite cards. i'm looking for some software i can use to dump the contents of a card, edit the info and write it back again. nothing fancy really.

the unit appears to directly take the info from the comp port (rs232), convert it to TTL and send it to the card and viceversa. if anybody knows of a program that would work with this, i'd be much thankfull.
