SavannahLion,
Thanks.. but I do find it Funny ,cause just a few post back you said I was Way Off-Base, and then went on to repeat nearly everything I had posted.
So many people are so clouded in their own perceptions, that they often dont even see the reality that is sitting right in front of them.
Anyways, I also find it somewhat Ironic that many people who praise sacrifice of certain controller options, who are a bit clueless on the differences at times..., "Do" know the value of a real Starwars controller.
You can play Starwars with a mouse, trackball, analog joystick.. but they all stink compared to the mighty SW Yoke. Feel, Control, Accuracy. That yoke design really made that game the great success it became.
(just as Race Drivin sit-down controls, made that game a huge success. No shifter feels & works as good, no wheel as realistic and powerful, and even proper brake resistance on the pedals. Simply A masterpiece of engineering)
IMOP, not enough people realize the importance of specialized game controllers, and all the hard work and genius that went into them. Sadly, after a certain year, all machines shifted to generic crap that felt and controlled horrible. Then again, the generic games stunk too... so it hardly mattered.
