I discovered a "bug" in my setup. When i play fex. 1942 or Raiden (only tried those two shooters) it sometimes during play triggers button 2 (L.Alt) this also happens with player 2 controls. I tried to reprogram the ipac but no luck. I also saw that when in WinIpac program when i press button 2 on the player 1 controls it triggers the "File" in the menu and makes it active and i have to press button 2 again to release it. Is this normal behavior?

I also tried to assign the button 2 (L.Alt) to another key but same thing happens. It's not often but quite irritating. Anyone got some clues?

I have changed both player 1 and 2 buttons from default Mame L.Ctrl and L.Alt to , (comma) and . (period)

I downloaded the keyboard test from www.passmark.com and ran it. Then i tried to simulate a game of 1942 without pressing the loop button assigned to . (previous L.Alt). It took a while after some jiggling with the joystick and pressing the , (previous L.Ctrl) then suddenly after i stopped jiggling the joystick and only pressed the , it posted a .

The question now is what to do next. Check wiring? Settings in Win XP? Settings in BIOS?

edit: The same happens for player 2 buttons, did the same operation with player 2 button 1 and after a while it postet button 2 even i did not press it  :dunno
