Now you have to do the support for the pcb assembly. Take the encoder wheel and you will notice that it has a rubber grommet on it. This fits in the hole on the bottom of the bearing. Do not glue it there yet. You will need some play to get it in the proper position.

This is the most time consuming part. With the wheel post in the bearing with the grommet, you will have to adjust were the wheel actually sits on the post. The black piece that you glued to the pcb has a nice slot to help you align it. Once you know what height the pcb has to be, bend the expansion slot covers to accommodate this. Again, this is a trial and error thing. You can use my pic as a guideline but it really depends on how yours is set.
