Master Favorites List/Running all games in one giant list
« on: October 20, 2010, 09:21:01 am »
Basically the only way I can see to do this is by creating a batch file for each game.  The web site below has an amazing tutorial on this subject better than I could write up.
http://custommaximustutorial.webs.com/custommamelist.htm

If you notice on the 2:45ish mark of this video he has Dragon's Lair (a daphne game), Daytona USA (Model 2), American Laser Games, Vivanonno, etc mixed in with his MAME games.  That's how he did it, and it appears the site above is his website.  A lot of good info there.

I'd imagine this could be time consuming, but in the end the result would be one master list.  Pretty awesome!

Thanks for posting the link to my site and sorry for leaving it so late for joining this great site.

Just want to say there is a great program out there called Batchrun which you can use instead of the batch files emu you sacrifice in MA.

Link http://www.outertech.com/index.php?_charisma_page=product&id=1

In the frontend you use Batchrun for your emulator, point your rom folder towards where your batchrun scripts are located and change the file extentions in MA to .brs.

There you go you can still run batchfiles in Maximus Arcade and still have your master Mamelist.

Sorry for being brief but i'm on my wifes laptop on a train lol.I will update the website when i get chance

Wow.  That's awesome!  I gotta try that!!!  So basically from what I understand, it allows for more than one "batch files" section right?

When you get back from your trip post a vid or some shots of it in action!
