Non-Bally/Midway Cocktail Cabinet Parts?
« on: October 18, 2010, 04:10:37 pm »
Hi,

I recently acquired a Non-Bally/Midway cocktail cabinet. The cabinet style looks similar to a Popeye/DK Cocktail, but not exactly. Is this the Aussie/Japanese cocktail style?

It has a 19” monitor in the vertical orientation with surprisingly very little burn-in. I haven’t hit it with the degausser yet to clear up the colors. Those brown areas at the top and bottom are just baked on dust that needs to be cleaned off.

The cabinet physically  has two start buttons on the left and two coin mechanisms on the right. The coin box is on the bottom right.

The game in it is Merit Trivia Whiz (vertical) and it appears to be a conversion.

The cabinet is missing the legs and the bottom coin box door / coin tray (or coin drawer?)

The legs are rectangle tube “T” shaped.

Could this be the type of coin box door/drawer?

This person MAMEd a very similar cabiet:

Any information on this particular cabinet style?

Where can I get the legs and/or the coin box door/coin tray?

The top glass is about 2x3 feet. Where do you get new tempered glass?
