WinXP x64 Suspend/Sleep troubleshooting (Will not resume)
« on: October 18, 2010, 09:57:35 am »
I was running Win7 64 very happily on my previous cab. The system went to sleep when not being played after a few minutes, only to be roused in seconds after hitting one of the trackball buttons.

I decided to install XP64 on the same machine after redesigning the cab to use an arcade monitor. I had issues with Soft15Khz under Win7 and moving to XP64 solved them. However I cannot get this same machine to resume from sleep mode, and I'm unsure how to proceed in troubleshooting:

When the machine sleeps, it can be successfully awoken if it it's only been in suspend for a few seconds. After that the machine acts as though its coming out of standby, but the mouse never lights up, it is inaccessible via network, and there is no video.

Any ideas?
