The right Intelivision EMU for Hyperspin?
« on: October 07, 2010, 05:11:36 pm »
Using Nostalgia and Hyperspin doesn't like it. Anyone have Intelivision working with Hyperspin? Love to hear what you are using, can't have my system complete without some D & D Tarmin Treasure!

Thanks!

Eric

I don't use Hyperspin so I can't help with that but Treasure of Tarmin is a great game.   :applaud:

Can you describe the problem you are having with Nostalgia and HyperSpin?  The more detail the better.
HyperSpin should be able to launch any command-line based emulator, so first on my suspect list would be your command-line syntax.  Can HyperSpin write out a log of the command lines it executes?  In other words, can you launch HyperSpin, launch D & D Tarmin Treasure, exit HyperSpin, and then look at a log file of some kind to see exactly what command line Hyperspin used to launch the game?  Very useful for troubleshooting purposes.

You are right EVEgames. It has something to do with the launch syntax.

Someone on the HyperSpin board got me the syntax they use, but it doesn't work for me  :badmood:.

When I launch Nostalgia, HyperSpin tells me that "Intellivision is an invalid system name or Nostalgia is not supported", even though I have the names and prompts in the autohotkey files.

Love Hyperspin, but hate this piddly crap !

Thanks.

Eric

Wow am I a dip :censored:!!!

Never compiled the autohotkey file after edit.

Sure pays to read the tutorials a little closer!
