It's that time again! I've got an oversized pile of cabs and it's time to give them to someone who can restore or make emulator cabs out of them.
Here's what i have:
MACH 3 cockpit cab- comes with the frenzel lens (makes screen look bigger), front glass, and coin door. This cab is separated in two pieces. If you want this one, keep in mind that you'll need a pretty good size truck (at least a Ford Ranger with the gate down) or trailer.
Data East cassette system cab- this cabinet is pretty sweet, as it's light (plywood) and has that late 70s/early 80s look to it with the speaker mesh. Comes with control panel with is pretty versatile in the fact that you can cut a piece of lexan to change the control configuration. Also comes with coin door which is also old-school sweet, an this one has a back door.
Wheels 2 lo-boy cab- Sigh. I really wish I could have gotten this working, but now it's a lost cause. Comes with control panel (two steering wheels and shifters!), bezel glass, coin door, and everything else inside except game board and monitor.
Super Cobra cocktail- pretty decent condition. Comes with both control panels intact with joysticks and buttons, coin door, top glass, and monitor mounting chassis.
Extra Bases cocktail- not bad condition. Comes with controls built in to the top of the cab (trackballs and buttons), but they're pretty rusty. I'll even leave the game boards and power supply in it, but I doubt any of it works.
I'll have pictures of these up in a few minutes of this post (6:50 pm EST). Email me if you're interested.
I also have a prototype 6- input I-Pac that I'll send to anyone for the price of postage, but ONLY if it doesn't end up on ebay. It was given to me by Andy to test, and I do NOT want to see it sold. If i send it to someone and it ends up on ebay, I'll start torching cabs rather than giving them away. I'm doing this to help out those who would like to realize their dream of owning/building a cab, and have been lied to and screwed by certain scumbag vectorlist video game collectors who promised me they'd use the parts rather than sell them. As you can see, I have a strong distaste for dishonest collectors, and there seem to be a LOT of them in this hobby.
Enough ranting. Email me if you're interested. I'd rather a number of people come and get these cabs rather than one person bogarting them all. But I'll let one person take them if I don't get many responses.
