Let's talk shaft length... Happ Comp that is
« on: September 27, 2010, 12:28:44 pm »
My setup includes 2 happ comp bases in a 5/8" panel that's routered underneath. I put on the Slik Stik stainless pear tops and heavy spring which feels good, but the throw is a bit long as the shafts are likely designed for thicker panels. I was looking at the Versa-ball from GGG and wondered how it would compare. Shorter would be better in this rare case.  :D

Anyone know the length of the Versa-balls? I emailed Randy, but thought I'd ask here in the meantime.

I can't take the wood/balls/shaft jokes anymore.    :duckhunt

It's the perfect way to start a week. I got word from Randy that they are likely as long so it looks like I may need to add spacers if I want a shorter shaft.
