2 1/4" usb flushmount trackball recommendation for metal CP
« on: September 26, 2010, 10:01:36 pm »
I have a metal control panel that I'd like to add a small 2 /4" usb track ball to.
Ideally I wold like to flush mount it. It doesnt need to glow in the dark or
light up.. just a simple colored ball.

Any suggestions? My biggest concern is the amount of space it takes
up under the control panel.

Can you recommend a flush mount one that doesnt take a lot of room
underneath?

Thanks,
Crayola

The encoders are always going to bulk it up underneath a little bit. Your best bet is to mock it up or draw it in CAD to see if you can position the encoders so they aren't in the way.

I'm all for the Happ 2 1/4"...

That's a 2mm panel with a slight step.
