No problem. I'm no expert but I will help where I can

The JVS-PAC supports 8 buttons per player plus coin, start, service etc. You can also setup shifted functions for volume, enter, escape etc etc.
I have a three button panel that I am currently converting to a six button panel. The Sega layout uses the same six button positions but they use a specific number of holes depending on the game that the CP was designed for. Because of this you can easily convert a three button panel to a six button panel.

The components that you are likely to find in a Naomi cab are the transformer, Sun ATX PSU, Sega Amp and the Sega JVS I/O board. There may also be a Naomi motherboard and GD-ROM.
The transformer powers the monitor, strip light and Sun ATX PSU. The Sun ATX PSU powers the Naomi motherboard, Sega Amp and the JVS I/O board.
I know some people have ran a PC from the Sun ATX PSU but personally I would add a separate one and splice it in before the transformer.
