Get one of the old CycloDS mini SD cards.  They work fine on GBA.

Flash2Advance can only hold one game at a time and it's a huge PITA to load them up.  I've got one in a drawer that's not even worth the effort to ship it.

cant believe i google and cant seem to find any , thanks for the help anyway ill keep looking

You definitely want a cyclods mini, vs the flash cart thingys.  I probably have one around here I can sell you.  (I sold dozens around here in the past, should have one left over)

these work with GBA or GameBoy DS?  I often wondered how to get MAME on a GBA, it would be so awesome to play some MAME on a GBA SP

The "mini" version works with the GBA and the DS Phat.  The "micro" version fits in the DS Lite (smaller slot #2 on the Lite).

As far as mame goes, I'm not sure.  I build cabinets for that :)  But what I do like is the NES emulation on the DS and GBAXP.  Works great for that.
