Control panel strip?
« on: September 18, 2010, 06:51:39 am »
A few months ago I read a topic about a Z shaped metal strip that goes between your control panel and the glass screen in front of the monitor.
Well since my previous design for this area turns out to be too difficult I remembered this strip. I just can't seem to find the topic on the forum anymore
with the link to the store that sells those things. :(

Anyone know what I'm talking about???

Thanks!

Yep, I think that's it. It would also keep coins from accidentally falling into the cabinet and causing shortcircuits, but I just can't find it back.
I've got a boatload of bookmarked stores but I didn't think I would need this one.
Just shows...

But I'm still open for suggestions!

You can make something similar out od the steel pieces they sell at lowes.

goto the hardware sction and find something that will work, i know they got it, it isnt z shaped, it more l shaped but it will work

This thread talks about a Z bracket, and other options.

Hopefully that helps.
