Dude. That is unbelieveable. Thats some sort of photoshop wizardry. Mike Tyson is IMPOSSIBLE to beat. Seriously. There is no way.
Pictures are overrated anyway.

Nah, he's beatable. I beat him loads of times. There was an issue of Nintendo Power that published the 'secret method' .... once that article came out, it was easy.

(Taken from GameFAQ)

Quote
Beating Mike relies on not getting knocked down in the first 1:30 of the first
round, when he throws his one-hit-knockdown Dynamite Punches.  You can dodge
these and counter with two blows to the face.  They are telegraphed with a short
blue flash.  Afterwards, Mike will begin to throw left and right hooks which are
more easily dodged.  He winks before throwing them.  At the beginning of the
second and thrid rounds, he will toss some non-telegraphed jabs, so be ready and
keep your guard up.  He'll throw Dynamite Punches again, but they're much weaker
this time.  The only other move Mike might try is to sit and blink for a while.
This is a good time to punch him in the face and earn a Star, but be ready to
dodge the oncoming barrage of jabs.  Otherwise, Mike Tyson can be beaten, but it
takes skill, reflexes, and luck.
Man, will my cab EVER be finished?

I can still beat Mike Tyson pretty easily.  There's no luck involved - you just need to know his "tells" like any other character.

EDIT:  Oh yeah - you just have to dodge his punches for the first 1:30 and then it is smooth sailing.

Playing that game for over 20 years and never thought of any of that.  These tips were mind blowing....   :applaud:

Yeah I didnt know ANY of that stuff. When I was 8 and I had that on NES, Mike Tyson was impossible. Hell, I couldnt even beat Mr. Sandman. I also couldnt beat Blaster Master...
Pictures are overrated anyway.

Wow.  What an amazing vid.  Even though I have beaten Tyson, I now feel like I suck at Mike Tyson's Punch Out!

I gotta fire it up again.

I guess I'll be watching all ten installments. I'm hooked.
