Save Game State on Exit
« on: September 12, 2010, 01:16:55 am »
Can this be configured (for MAME) from Mala? I can't seem to find it...

OK. As soon as I hit [shift F7] in a game and told it where to save it, now it seems to be doing it for almost all games. So I guess the next question is: How do I turn it off? :)

Hi,

I dunno. It's a mame thing is it?

You may want to ask in the software section

I'm asking here, because there's a checkbox for it in MameUI32, but I don't find it when using Mala.

Ohh that Mame editor in MaLa has not been updated for years.

Use notpad or something for new options in mame

OK. Thanks.

The problem is there are so many different version of mame and the options change

Thanks reminds me I should put a note or something on the MaLa mame.ini editor so that users understand that some options may not be covered or there may be options taht are not applicable to that mame version.

Maybe it's time for mala to disable that feature or give a warning that it only works for mame version prior to x.x.x

Yeah, I'll do something like that for the next version
