Commando Conversion(?) / Vertical Cab Questions
« on: August 31, 2010, 09:42:42 pm »
Greetings! New to forum, been a longtime lurker though!

Got the bug after I picked up a Badlands cabinet for free (dead monitor though!) back in May. In the process of renovating it and possibly converting to a MAME cab.

Recently talked with a guy on Craigslist and hes got a Commando vertical cab that has a bad PCB and wants to get rid of it for $50 - thinking about taking him up on it.

My question is: Given such a low cost, is it worth it to buy and restore it via eBay or should I consider MAME'ing it for a dedicated Vertical cab?

Commando was a kit, so that cabinet could be anything.
NO MORE!!
