Ok, this project is a never ending battle.
I moved my project onto a better PC (from XP to Win 7 64), and am having some difficulties with some of the emulators.
CURRENTLY WORKING FINE IN MA = GBX, GBC, GBA, NES, SNES, PS1, DC, MAME, CPS3, Sega Model 2, Daphne, Lynx, NeoGeoPocket, Turbo/PC Engine, N64, Nintendo DS, Batch Files, Flash Player, Media Player, Mp3 Player, Future Pinball
NO LONGER WORKING =
1. 3DO (used to work in MA on previous PC, but now it prompts me to pick which rom cause it's confused, still doesn't load it after I point it to one, just loads black screen. Works independently but not in MA)
Update*- followed tutorial on this exact subject, still not working.
Black screen upon loading and "mount switch syntax error" from Daemon Tools
*thread on this specific problem:
http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=104984.02. Wonderswan - prompts for me to select rom from within the emulator. Does not load from MA, but will play after selecting from emulator menu.
3. Master System, Genesis, 32x, Sega cd (FUSION will only load up static or black screen in MA- all emulators work outside of MA)
4.Jaguar (project tempest) Update* followed tutorial. Will now go into it's menu from MA (asking to pick a rom) It is playable, but not seemless.
WORKING INDEPENDENTLY, BUT YET TO FIGURE OUT IN MA= Zinc (Black screen only, but works outside MA with GUI), Dolphin (works outside MA, but gives error message in MA), Saturn (SSF)
(also had MESS working before, I will figure it out again for Vectrex, Atari etc)
I don't really have a specific question other than does anyone know if there are any special circumstances or problems I might be having with the new Windows 7 64 bit build? I have deleted and reloaded all emulators and tried to reconfigure already. I was also having a similar black screen problem with some of the other emulators, but solved it by reinstalling each of them.
I have looked on the forum a good bit already. I am totally lost on Zinc especially (works fine with the GUI, but not with the exe in MA), and also the problem with Fusion.
My previous PC was a P4 Dell with a Nvidia 6800 card and Windows xp (32 bit)
New pc is Phenom Quadcore with integrated Nvidia 9800, and of course Windows 7 64 bit (and a whopping 1.5 TB HD)
