FS: Sega Naomi cabinet with or without innerds (US,Virginia)
« on: August 25, 2010, 09:01:13 am »
Hello,

I really hope someone around here can use this!  I bought this nice Naomi cabinet with the intention of playing around with it, and perhaps making a really nice mame cabinet out of it.  With the easily swappable control panels, and the nice big monitor (I believe its tri-synch and easily hooked up by VGA), it seemed it would make a great cabinet to suit a lot of needs.

BUT.... I can't get it in my house

The only door I have that would not involve staircases, just isn't wide enough.  So its been in storage for a while.  Part of me thought I'd strip out everything, perhaps selling the naomi setup, and keeping the monitor.  But if someone can use it as is, I'd rather see it put to good use.

It currently has Virtua Tennis in it, fully working, but as the post title reads, I'll offer this up as a full game, or as any variation of completeness (is that a word?).  I mainly need the cabinet to find a new home.

The downside:  Its not a typical Sega Naomi Universal cabinet.  Its the bigger brother as seen in the picture below (from sega's user manual, it was originally a Virtua Golf cabinet).

The other downside:  a friend is currently storing it for me, so I don't have any current pictures.  I can go take some if needed, but basically its a standard cabinet with no real modifications or damage.  The main metal parts are silverish in color, and it could pose as an air conditioning unit if you needed to slip it past the wife.

I don't know what to ask for it, so I'll open it up to offers.  (I hate when sellers do that!).  I'm smart enough to know what the game system and monitor are worth if stripped, so don't send me a low-ball offer (even that statement is relative, I suppose).

Most of you know me as being a long time vendor/trader around here, so rest assured I want both parties to be happy with any transaction that might transpose.

Thanks for reading my nonsense.  Now get back to work before your boss catches you in the B/S/T section again!
