Would there be a problem using 24 Ga wire for button wiring?

Dont want to overload something or fry a wire.  is 24 Ga Ok for buttons?

I used 20 guage myself, but I don't think there is an issue with 24.  I'm sure someone can answer from experience though.

i wouldnt go smaller than 20.
if the wire is to small its hard to crimp the spades sometimes and it will pull right out

There's very little load on it, so, should work fine. It may be hard to crimp though. If you've got it use it.
