Star Wars Yoke centering

I got a yoke off ebay and it centers slightly clockwise from center. Is it supposed to be like that? I found a couple pictures of Star wars cabs where the yoke seems to be in the same position. It looks like I'd need to drill new holes in the steering shaft if I wanted it to center with the handles perfectly horizontal.

Ram Controls sells brand new parts so you can rebuild it. You likely have worn out springs, etc.

I probably paid more than I should have for my yoke off of ebay.  I need a rebuild of some sorts anyway.  I'd agree you need a rebuild kit over drilling into your sheet metal. 

 Maybe its grimey or not quite level???

The wierd thing is it looks like a manufacturing defect on Atari's part. The lower assembly centers relative to the anchor pin/nut, but the pin/nut aren't parallel to the handle assembly. It would work perfectly if the shaft could be rotated in the handle assembly, but the set screws that hold it on go into threaded holes in the shaft. It looks like a replacement steering shaft from RAM will fix it. 
Yeah, my ebay yoke cost is getting closer to RAM's lovely new one. I like fixing stuff though so it's okay.

You definitely need new large torsion springs. They all do that once they get on in years, so that's why you will see multiple SW games with the yokes tilted.
