Best way to attach CP top to CP box?

I'm feeling lazy and don't want to figure out the angles and stuff to mount the top with a European cabinet hinge.  Any thoughts on a piano hinge or velcro possibly?  I'm concerned about creating an uneven joint where the top meets the box if I use velcro or the piano hinge showing...   :cheers:

Not sure what angles you would need to figure out?  Are you referring to say a sloped control panel top such that the closed top would need to close to a less than 90o angle?  If that's what you mean just get a pair of european cabinet hinges and make sure they can close to less than 90o...shouldn't be any angle measuring at all, no?

Piano hinges close to anything from 0° to nearly 360°
