It seems to work for me if I do this:

1.  Download from http://mirrors.arcadecontrols.com/Salmonking/
(I chose SKJukeboxInstall_v400.zip - The latest full version, with added video support)

2.  When installing, I elected to put it in C:/SKJukebox, rather than in the Program Files directory.  I find that a lot of programs not designed for Windows 7 have problems with permissions in the Program Files directory.

3.  First time I tried to run it, I got an error about the ImagXpr6.dll file. So then I...

4.  Set the skjukebox.exe file to Run As Administrator.

5.  Tried again.  It worked.  I could add a music directory and select songs and they played.

From that point, if you wanted to upgrade to Version 4.01, you could then download that and install that EXE wherever you installed the program.  You'd have to set it to Run As Administrator again.

I like SKJukebox.  The one feature that I like the most about it is the way SalmonKing incorporated a pitch change option.  That lets me play anything in my collection at a pitch tuned to our piano or my guitar, allowing me to play along.  It's a great choice for a home jukebox, but I hadn't tried it on Windows 7 because I've spent my efforts at getting WinCab up and running great on my Windows 7 machine.

Let me know if this works for you.

i did get it working but i had to re install windows (nothing to do with the juke set up)

i got the imagxpr6 problem when trying to install , i might of run as admin when i got it working ill try again my computer is off getting some tlc

when i did get it running i did get the mscon file missing which i downloaded from the same link as you gave (bottom link) inserted into windows 32 directory and bingo

so i know it works just need to get my computer back

should be starting my cabinet build tomorrow hopefully so cant wait

im looking for square stainless momentary buttons now that i can etch on the words   find jump back , these will go with my nice stainless blue led buttons with numbers 0 -9 on them (very nice buttons at about $11 each which includes the etching) as soon as i start ill add some pics

oh by the way mate version 4 and 4.01 have trouble skipping songs after about 5 minutes of play ,  as far as i know there is no fix for this , version 3 i use but i dont use video at the moment to use video you need version 4 or 4.01 but the skipping will drive you nuts,  if you dont use video then use version 3 although it has a E where the R is on the on screen keyboard but it is an easy fix if you search you will find the remedy for that , took me about 5 minutes to work it out

dam it would be good if there was more work done on this juke as it looks so good with , bright blue songtitles and then change font color alternately for the next fonts etc (i know pink but it looks very good with the blue ) once all the font color changes are made it looks so good  , ill post a pic when i get my computer back and it is running

Big thanks to Dermbrian!  Running in c:\skjukebox did the trick!

had some trouble trying to reload windows seven , ahhhhhh the things you do

so ive settled back on windows xp as it will be a dedicated juke i dont really need windows seven , although i still may go that way as i think it supports touch better

main problem with version 4 sk juke is that it will skip songs , its a known bug with no fix i know

let me know if yours is skipping . it generally starts skipping after about 5 or 6 songs

Bug fix for v4 is to run the app in Windows 98 compatibility mode.
