Mounting hardware for Happ Competition
« on: August 18, 2010, 03:11:47 pm »
So I have 2 happs that I am going to mount.  to a 3/4" piece of mdf with plexi on top.

I'm going to route a bit to extend the joystick,  3/8" I believe?

I need to buy hardware at lowe's.  So does anyone know what name & size bolts I need?

Since I have a plexi overlay with art on top, should I just use countersink bolts and a countersink bit to mount them flush with the top of the wood, or should I drill holes in the top and stick in inserts to use with the bolts going up through the bottom?

#10 machine screws / bolts and don't forget the washers.  Sink em in and cover with your overlay.
