Is there an easy way to configure the TankStick with MAME?
« on: August 14, 2010, 04:11:06 pm »
I remember hearing that there was an option in MAME to select the Xarcade tankstick as your controller...  I cannot seem to find that.  I have MAME 0.138 command line version.  Any ideas?

Really?

It works out of the box for me.
If I had only one wish, it would be for three more wishes.

I just looked at the Wiki and from the info I read there I would guess you open up the mame.ini file (with a text editor such as notepad) and change the line:
# ctrlr                 <NULL> (not set)
to:
ctrlr   xarcade

The above should work if you have a ctrlr subdirectory in your Mame directory with the xarcade.cfg inside.  I don't have any Xarcade stuff so I don't know how successful this will be for you.
